What type of splint is this? What diagnosis might it be used for?

Muenster splint for TFCC injuries, DRUJ injuries and to avoid forearm rotation while allowing elbow motion.

Munster Orthosis. Used when forearm rotation should be limited (e.g. ulnar wrist pain/impairment, TFCC injures, forearm fractures).

This is a sugar tong spling or Munster splint which eliminates forearm rotation while still allowing elbow flex/ext. Dx may be TFCC tear (peripheral of course), or s/p repair of central.
